Over the last 20 years my home town has been slowly but constantly changing. It’s more noticeable as I visit the place just once a year. Newly built or restored buildings have made the town pleasant and pretty vibrant. But most of the pictures here show deteriorating buildings or their elements. This can make an impression that it’s the Polish Detroit; but that’s a untrue impression. The reason for this gallery is personal and visual: all the new buildings are dully nice, with their unimpressive smooth, immaculate walls and modern shapes. Those pictured here drew my photographic eye with their textures and colours.
